No country can ever truly flourish if it stifles the potential of its women and deprives itself of the contributions of half of its citizens.

Creating Opportunities Where They Matter Most

Investing in People. Building the Nation.

Together for a More Inclusive Nepal

Who We Are

Empowering remote Nepali girls through education and equal opportunities.

Opportunity should
belong to every girl.

No matter where she’s born, every girl deserves the chance to learn, grow, and lead.
We create that chance—through education, mentorship, and long-term support in Nepal’s remotest corners.

Empowering Change

Avasar Nepal (AN) is a non-profit making, non-governmental organization (NGO), registered in Kathmandu, Nepal. Avasar in Nepali means “Opportunity” and Avasar Nepal was created with this very notion to be a bridge to provide opportunity to adolescent girls in the very remote villages of Nepal through the help of education.

A Message from Our President

Leading with purpose, grounded in compassion.

When we started Avasar Nepal, it was with one simple belief—every girl deserves a chance. A chance to learn, to grow, to dream, and to shape her own future—no matter where she’s born.

In the remote corners of our country, many girls are still denied this chance. But we’ve seen what happens when they’re given the right support. They thrive. They rise. They become leaders in their families and communities.
