Avasar Nepal is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization established in 2078 B.S. (2022) under the Nepal Government Act 2034, registered at the Kathmandu district administration office, and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council.
Avasar in Nepali means “Opportunity” and Avasar Nepal was created with this very theme to provide an opportunity to adolescent girls in the very remote villages of Nepal through the help of education.
Avasar Nepal aims at working towards the improvement of the socio-economic, educational, and political environment of indigenous and other marginalized women from remote and undeveloped regions of Nepal by providing the opportunity to have an education and improving the living standard of the girls from the marginalized communities and ensuring their rights for equal access to and control over resources, economic opportunities by making them aware of their contribution in national development.

To minimize the risks of early marriage, child labor, human trafficking, sexual harassment, and school dropout it is important that the adolescent girls in the remote areas of Nepal. Our vision is to mitigate these facts and for them to be the direct beneficiaries of our project.
