PHURBU YANGCHEN RAI: PROJECT COORDINATOR

Phurbu Yangchen Rai joined Avasar Nepal as a Project Coordinator in 2024, bringing her strong academic background and passion for social development. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Padmakanya Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University. With expertise in business studies and project management, she is dedicated to creating impactful initiatives for community empowerment.

Her role at Avasar Nepal involves planning, coordinating, and implementing the strategy to support marginalized communities. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, she ensures that projects run efficiently and effectively. Fluent in English, Nepali, Tibetan, and Sherpa, Phurbu bridges communication gaps and fosters strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

At Avasar Nepal, Phurbu is crucial in expanding the organization’s impact and ensuring its mission aligns with community needs. Through her dedication and leadership, she is helping to create opportunities for those in need, making a tangible difference in society.

BIJAYA BASKOTA BADAL: PROJECT OFFICER

Bijaya takes charge of our project’s day-to-day operation and ensures that our girls’ needs are being met. She is responsible for the quality management of the education, living, and daily activities of our girls in Avasar Nepal.

INDIRA DAHAL: HOUSEKEEPING

Indira ensures the house is kept clean and the girls are fed on time. Mother of 2 beautiful children, Indira loves taking care of our girls and became a part of the family in a very short time.

JHALAK ROKAYA: AREA COORDINATOR

Jhalak is our area coordinator in Bajhang. He provides his help voluntarily and has always been of great support to us. He makes sure that the girls who come to Kathmandu are from families that are in dire need of help and whose economic status is inferior. He also ensures that the girls who are coming to Kathmandu are very keen on receiving an education.
